Delivering access to the best treatments

We work with our community to ensure that patients and their needs are central to the assessment of new treatments and therapies.

As a charity providing information and support to people with lymphoma for 40 years, we have a wealth of knowledge about its impact on those affected. For this reason, we are often asked by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) to contribute to HTAs - their assessments of new lymphoma treatments

We work with patients, healthcare professionals, the pharmaceutical industry and other experts to submit stakeholder evidence to all lymphoma and CLL treatment appraisals.

By sharing our expertise and bringing the patient voice into the process, we can ensure that decisions as to whether to fund new treatments on the NHS are made with all relevant information and perspectives included.

We publish the decisions, recommendations and guidance in our news section
