September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), and every year we invite people to come together to raise awareness and funds to support people affected by lymphoma, the UK’s most common blood cancer.
Here are five ways that you can get involved in our Let’s talk lymphoma campaign this September:
- Learn about lymphoma: Join one of our free sessions to understand what lymphoma is and how it is treated. These meetings also give you the opportunity to connect to others with similar experiences
- Get information in your local community: Request our resources pack which you can then deliver to your local GP surgeries and pharmacies or email to schools, colleges and universities. A personal connection makes all the difference!
- Organise a cake sale or coffee morning: When better to talk lymphoma than over tea and cake? Hold a cake sale or coffee morning with friends, family or colleagues - it's a great opportunity to share lymphoma facts, symptoms and raise vital pounds.
- Share the symptoms: Share the symptoms of lymphoma with your networks so that everyone can know the signs to look out for. You could post about them on social media, display our poster in your local community or share our animated video.
- Make a donation: We rely on your generous donations to provide our support services free of charge and drive improvements for the future. As a charity we do not receive any government or NHS funding, so every penny received is truly valued.
There's still time to join us this Blood Cancer Awareness Month, so register today for your free pack!
Let’s talk lymphoma, so that no one has to face it alone.
